This is the marriage record for Levi Pennington and Mycha Frances Lemaster.  They were married 21 Jan 1858 in Morgan Co., KY.  Levi was the son of Joshua Pennington and Nancy Sparks and Mycha was the daughter of John Jackson Lemaster and his wife, Rebecca. This is the death certificate for Levi Pennington. There is an error in the Mother of Levi. The information was given by the son of Levi and he gave his mother's name in place of Levi's mother should of been Nancy Sparks.  Levi was the son of Joshua Pennington and Nancy Sparks and grandson of Micajah Pennington, Jr.  Levi was b. 01 Dec 1832 and d. 31 May 1913.  He was married to Mycha Frances Lemaster and they were the parents of 11 children. This is the death certificate of William Riley Pennington who was the son of Levi Pennington and Mycha Frances Lemaster.  His wife's name was Rebecca Sue Pennington. He was b. 12 Mar 1866 and d. 14 Sep 1935 and he and his wife were the parents of 7 children. This document was kindly provided by supplied by Walter & Barbara Treichel. 
This is the death certificate of Rebecca Sue Pennington, wife of William Riley Pennington.  She was the daughter of Claiborne Pennington and Sarah Ann Lemaster.  William Riley Pennington's father, Levi was a brother of Rebecca's father, Claiborne.  She was born 24 May 1862 and d. 08 Nov 1942. Gravestone of George Columbus Pennington in Oak Hill, Fayette Co., WV.  George was the son of John Anderson Pennington and Mary Frances Marshall.  He was b. 08 Mar 1882 in Johnson Co., KY and d. 17 Nov 1946 in Fayette Co., WV.  He was married to Ollie May Withrow in Fayette Co., WV.  George was the grandson of Levi Pennington & Mycha Frances Lemaster and great grandson of Joshua Pennington. Opal Moore supplied this photo of Jesse Bowling's grave stone.  Of course, this is a much more recent stone than what must have been there originally.
Gravestone of William Thomas Pennington at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville , Fayette Co., WV.  William was the son of John Anderson Pennington and Mary Frances Marshall.  He was b. 16 Jun 1880 in Johnson Co., KY and d. 5 Apr 1841 in Fayette Co., WV.  He was married to Nevada Pearl Lavinder in Fayette Co., WV.  William was the grandson of Levi Pennington & Mycha Frances Lemaster and great grandson of Joshua Pennington. Stephen Pennington was b. 24 Mar 1821 in VA/TN and d. 18 Mar 1890 in Ashe Co., NC.  He was the son of Samuel Pennington and Elizabeth Anderson (Group 12).  Stephen was married to Johanna Spencer in about 1842.  She was b. 30 Nov 1820 in VA and d. 28 Dec 1911 in Ashe Co., NC.  She was the daughter of Isaac Spencer and his wife Johanna.  This photo was probably taken in the 1870's.  This photo was kindly provided by Emily Kilby.

This is Martha Caroline Pennington, a daughter of Stephen Pennington and Johanna Spencer.  She was b. 29 Dec 1856 in Ashe Co., NC and d. 11 Aug 1935 in Ashe Co., NC.  She was married to Byrum Sturgill (b. 15 Mar 1846 and d. 13 Mar 1921) on 01 Oct 1876.  He was the son of John Sturgill and Obedience Cox.  They were the parents of 6 children: Walter Stephen  b. 07 Jul 1879 and d. 14 Nov 1948, William Edward b. 20 Jul 1881 d. 22 Dec 1962, Victor  b.  08 Oct 1883 d. 27 Oct 1952, Myrtie b. 12 Jul 1886 d. 10 Jul 1932, Lessie b. 12 Apr 1891 d. 01 Oct 1925, and Mamie b. 17 Oct 1895 d. 28 Apr 1965.  Photo provided by Emily Kilby.
This is Orlean Pennington, the second youngest daughter of Stephen Pennington and Johanna Spencer.  She was b. Mar 1854 and d. 1933.  She was married to John M. Young (b. 14 Aug 1842 and d. 06 May 1918) abt 1888.  He was the son William Patton Young and Catherine Hash.  They were the parents of 2 children: Walter Stephen b. 03 Dec 1889 and d. 10 Oct 1930, and John Grover b. 04 Jun 1891 and d. 04 Jan 1910.  Photo provided by Emily Kilby.
This is a photo of Andrew Jackson Pennington's gravestone.  He was a son of Samuel Pennington and Elizabeth Anderson.  He was b. 1838 and d. 27 May 1864 in the Rock Island IL Prison Camp.  He was married to Elizabeth Kilby b. 29 Apr 1836.  She was the daughter of Rueben Kilby and Anne Jones.  They had one daughter, Emeline Celia Pennington b. 15 Aug 1863 and d. 23 Jan 1919.  Photo provided by Emily Kilby.
